Following on the heals of the reissue by Real Gone Music of their 1970 cult classic, One Kiss Leads To Another, Hackamore Brick graced the stage of Maxwells, the legendary club in Hoboken, New Jersey this past Saturday. The performance highlighting songs from the album was broadcast live on WFMU during DJ Terre T 's Cherry Blossom Clinic. It was the final WFMU live remote from the club which is set to close by the end of the month.
Tommy Moonlight and Chick Newman, the founding members and principle songwriters of the band, were accompanied by John Allen on bass and Evan "Funk" Davies on drums and rocked the very enthusiastic packed house.
